Conroe Bay has proven to be a unique and comfortable place to live. All of us enjoy the pleasant surroundings that are a benefit of our community. The CBCA’s goal is to have a great looking neighborhood that everyone takes pride in. Our website, conroebaycivicassociation.com is available to you 24/7. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with it, as there is a lot of information there that answers many questions. You can send messages to us through the website by clicking on “Contact Us” link.
The CBCA Board of Directors are volunteers that are elected by the property owners or in case of a vacancy, are appointed by the Board. They serve 3-year terms. The CBCA Officers are elected by the Directors. There is an Annual General Meeting in October and Quarterly meetings to conduct the business of the association. They are open to all property owners and residents. All meetings are held at our Community Center. Dates and Times of these meetings are posted below on this website and, as a reminder, a sign is posted at the front entrance 72 hours in advance of each meeting. Reports are given concerning our Finances, Deed Restrictions, Architectural Applications, Hospitality, ongoing projects and other topics that have come to our attention. The agenda is set by our CBCA President. If you would like to speak at the meeting or have a topic that you feel needs to be addressed, please contact through our website at least a week in advance of the meeting. We especially want to encourage all residents to get involved and volunteer to be on the Board to help manage our neighborhood. It is the homeowner’s duty to keep a current e-mail address registered with the Association, so if you haven’t shared your e-mail address and other contact information with us, please do so by emailing or calling our CBCA Secretary/Treasurer. Information found on the Helpful Information page.
Architectural control consists of insuring that all buildings/structures are constructed and maintained in harmony of exterior design with existing homes in the community. Any modification to the exterior of your home, building a shed, fence, deck, patio, painting, etc. requires that you fill out an Architectural Application that is available for download on the website under “Helpful Information.” Approval must be obtained before starting the project.
Please take time to review our Deed Restrictions. It is the responsibility of each homeowner to be familiar with the Deed Restrictions, so they may abide by them. These documents are available on our website (Helpful Information).
Parking:
Our streets are very narrow and street parking in Conroe Bay is against the Deed Restrictions. Temporary overflow parking is available in the spaces to the left of our Community Center. The large space to the right side is reserved for temporary trailer parking ONLY while owners have their boats out on the lake. CBCA Owner Stickers or Temporary Guest Cards are required to be displayed in each vehicle for parking in these areas and may be obtained upon request by contacting our Boat Ramp board member. Vehicles not displaying a sticker or guest card are subject to towing. Please do not park in front of the Community Center as it is reserved for event parking.
